[ dabble ] Friends or Enemies?

If it’s true that those harmed most by war are the innocent people living where the bombs fall and the soldiers fight, then it’s fair enough that those people want their voices heard amongst all the talking that goes on when the question of war is raised.

As the leaders of Israel and Iran make grand statements about nuclear weapons and the possibilities of military attacks, an Israeli graphic designer decided to bypass official channels and send a message directly to the people of Iran. With a simple call of love and peace, the video aims to directly erase the lines that separate individuals and turns them into enemies.

So while the war rhetoric flies back and forth between their governments, some citizens are pinning their hope on the idea that they have a better chance at life by acknowledging what makes them the same as their supposed enemies, rather than fighting over what makes them different.

The message comes across pretty clearly in the following two videos…

My name is Ronny, I’m 41 years old. I’m a father, a teacher, a Graphic Designer.
I’m an Israeli citizen and I need your help.

Lately, in the news, we’ve been hearing about a war coming while we the common people are sitting and watching it coming like it has nothing to do with us.

On March 15th, I posted a poster on Facebook. The message was simple.
Iranians. We love you. We will never bomb your country

Within 24 hours, thousands of people shared the poster on Facebook, and I started receiving messages from Iran.
The next day, we got featured on TV and newspapers, proving that the message was traveling. Fast.

Please help us prevent this war by spreading this message. make your own posters , send this message to your friends and share it.

We are raising money in order to produce more posters and keep the movement grow.

thanks to all of you for your support and love.

may we prevent this war.
